Hotels Val di Fassa

Surrounded by some of the highest peaks of the Dolomites, Val di Fassa is a charming winter resort provided with excellent connections with the ski districts of Valle del Biois, Val d’Ega, Val Livinallongo and Val Gardena. Situated north-east of the province of Trento, it includes the charming municipalities of Moena, Soraga, Vigo di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa, Mazzin di Fassa, Campitello di Fassa and Canazei.

The ski resorts of Val di Fassa (Catinaccio-Rosengarten, Buffaure, Belvedere-Col Rodella-Campitello, Tre Valli) are part of the Dolomiti Superski circuit, which includes 1180 kilometres of slopes, thus standing out as the largest in the world. In summer, modern ski-lift facilities give trekking lovers the possibility to reach fascinating Alpine lakes and woods. The tourist offer is complemented by exciting mountain bike itineraries, rocky walls for expert climbers and natural terraces to enjoy adventurous flights by paraglider and hang-glider. Tourists will also have the opportunity to visit the battlefields of the Marmolada massif, where trenches and galleries excavated from the glaciers' surface bear witness to the terrible vicissitudes of World War II.

The skiing capital of Val di Fassa is Canazei, which is located 1465 metres above sea level at the base of some of the highest and most awe-inspiring groups of peaks of the area. Gathering 150 kilometres of slopes, 90 ski-lift facilities, over 50 kilometres of cross-country trails and a remarkably wide array of accommodation facilities, shelters and clubs, Canazei is one of the most appreciated resorts in Val di Fassa and attracts large numbers of tourists both in summer and in winter. The charming resort of Campitello di Fassa, which is connected with the Dolomiti Superski Circuit through the so-called Col Rodella cableway, nestles on the slopes of Sassolungo, and so does Mazzin di Fassa, an appreciated tourist destination which gives tourists the possibility to go for pleasant walks across the fascinating footpaths leading to Val Udai. Pozza di Fassa is an enchanting resort gathering wonderful landscapes, thermal springs and famous ski slopes (Alloch Slope and Pozza Buffaure Ski Area).

Val di Fassa's main pivotal point is Vigo's city centre, which provides access to the slopes of Ciampedie; heading to Val di Fiemme, tourists will have the opportunity to visit Soraga, which is dominated by the so-called Catinaccio Massif, and Moena, one of the most appreciated resorts of Val di Fassa which often arranges absorbing cultural events and welcomes visitors in its modern accommodation facilities. Few kilometres far from Moena's city centre are the ski districts of Alpe Lusia and San Pellegrino, which are both provided with excellent connections with Tre Valli.
