Corso Garibaldi, the city's major arterial route which is flanked by plenty of sumptuous palaces and buildings, such as the 18th-century  Palazzo Gaddi, the current seat of the Museum of the Risorgimento, leads to Piazza Ordelaffi, which is dominated by the Neoclassical Duomo and the sumptuous Palazzo Paulucci Piazza, the current seat of the Prefecture.
Walking down Corso della Repubblica, tourists will reach the civic number 72, which hosts Forlì's Picture Gallery and Municipal Museums, which gather precious archaeological finds and rich collections of medieval and Renaissance art.
A short distance from Forlì are the charming centres of Bertinoro, situated on the top of Mount Cesubeo, which hosts the Romanesque Church of Polenta celebrated by Giosuè Carducci, and Forlimpopoli, which is dominated by the impressive 14th-century  Rocca Albornoziana, the current seat of the Town Hall and the Civic Archaeological Museum. The lush countryside which extends between Forlì and Forlimpopoli also hosts the Sanctuary of St. Maria delle Grazie di Fornò, a mysterious circular building which was erected in the XV century.
