Every year on January 6, Vico Equense stages the traditional procession of Pacchianelle, during which local inhabitants arrange a wonderful living crib and donate cheese, fruit, vegetables and further local staples to Jesus Christ. The long procession is closed by the local fishermen, who always walk barefoot.
