The charming resort of Spello is situated north of Foligno, along the major road which leads to Assisi. Not to be missed are the Romanesque Church of St. Claudio, the late-Roman Villa of Sant'Anna and its precious mosaics, and Villa  Fidelia, which is often the venue for great concerts and important cultural events. The city's most important festivals are the spectacular so-called Infiorata, which takes place every year on the occasion of Corpus Christi, the Olive Festival and the Festival of Bruschetta, which is held here in December to celebrate Spello's most important product: oilve oil.
