Rovereto is a small municipality situated in the province of Trento, the most important centre of Val Lagarina. Another important museum is the Civic Museum, one of the oldest in Italy, whose garden hosts a planetarium which can be visited by the general public during the weekend.
The so-called “Bosco della Città” (Wood of the City), a thick wood situated within a short walking distance from the city centre, gives tourists the possibility to rest while sitting on comfortable benches overlooking the surrounding landscape, exploring rough footpaths or playing sport or further open-air activities.
