Rezzato is a small municipality situated few kilometres far from Brescia, just in the heart of the piedmont area which extends east of the provincial capital. A thriving industrial centre and cultural city, Rezzato is a popular holiday destination for both tourists and business travellers.

Rezzato gathers modern hotels situated in the old town and intimate bed and breakfasts and holiday farms which are idyllically set just in the heart of Valverde and in the nearby hamlet of San Giacomo. Not to be missed are elegant hotels provided with modern conference rooms and comfortable residences, which are situated a short distance from the major road connections and are the ideal accommodation facilities for business travellers.

Rezzato's most important attraction is the so-called  PInAC (Aldo Cibaldi International Art Gallery of the Age of Development). This museum, which attracts plenty of artists and students all year round, gathers interesting artworks which are realized by children from all over the world. Many artists hold targeted conferences here, and some of their artworks are regularly selected to be sent to prestigious international contests.
Another interesting project promoted by Rezzato is carried out by the School for stonecutters, which was established by Rodolfo Vantini in the course of the nineteenth century. Because of its proximity with Botticino's marble quarries, its activities spread more and more; the school courses are still attended by young people from all over Italy.
Apart from these two interesting artistic projects, Rezzato also gathers beautiful highlights which confirm the cultural importance of this centre. Not to be missed is Villa Avogadro (which was subsequently called Villa Fenaroli), a sixteenth-century building which has recently been restored and now hosts an elegant hotel provided with comfortable conference rooms.
Pilgrims and believers will have the possibility to visit the Monastery of San Pietro in Colle, an ancient Benedictine Abbey which was founded in 1008, was subsequently settled by different religious communities and is now the seat of the Order of Friars Minor, and the Sanctuary of Madonna di Valverde, an impressive building which was erected in the place where the Madonna is said to have appeared twice.
