Rasun Anterselva (German: Rasen Antholz) is a tiny municipality situated in the province of Bolzano. It overlooks Anterselva Valley and is flanked by the lush Pusteria Valley. Usually warm and sunny even in winter and crowned by enchanting Alpine settings, Rasun Anterselva is a privileged holiday destination all year round.

Local hotels give guests the possibility to enjoy utmost tranquillity and relax while admiring enchanting landscapes, snow-covered peaks and lush valleys which in spring are carpeted with green meadows and scented flowers. Comfortable guesthouses are situated both in Rasun di Sopra, a short distance from the ski-lift facilities and the highest peaks, and Rasun di Sotto, whose valley also hosts enchanting naturalistic itineraries and intimate holiday farms.

Anterselva Valley is situated a short distance from the shores of the homonymous crystal-clear lake, which is surrounded by impressive, picturesque sceneries. Apart from well-equipped ski slopes and rough paths which cross the thick woods of Anterselva, tourists will have the possibility to visit the most representative monuments of the village, such as the Renaissance Castle of Ansitz Heufler, whose interior has hosted a charming inn since 1575, and the famous Goller Residence, an interesting XVI-century building which was realized according to the traditional architectural style from Alto Adige. Rasun di Sotto also hosts the ancient church of St. Giovanni, which is said to have been founded in 1070 but was completely remodelled according to the late Baroque style in the nineteenth century.
