Predore's most ancient church, which is dedicated to St. John the Baptist, dates back to the year 1000, even if it was subsequently remodelled and renovated
Predores' is scattered with the impressive remains of ancient medieval fortifications; among the most characteristic is the so-called XII-century  Torre dimezzata, which overlooks the shores of the lake, and the impressive ruins of a Medieval castle which gazes across the city from on high.
