Ostellato, a small municipality of the province of Ferrara, develops a short distance from the Park of the Po Delta and the Marshes of Comacchio and 30 kilometres far from the Adriatic Sea. This Romanesque church is embellished by the small arches that surmount both the facade, the sides and the three apses, and has the aspect of a basilica with a nave and two aisles.
The city's historical-architectural heritage also includes some sumptuous stately homes that once belonged to the Este Dukes, such as the so-called Delizia di Medelana, that dates back to the XV century, and the remains of the famous “Ca’Matte” Game Preserve, that was erected in 1450 in Libolla.
The lovely hamlet of Mezzano, that develops in the heart of Corte Valle complex, is home to the important Museum of Territory, that illustrates the geomorphological and anthropological evolution of the territory of the Po Delta.
The lovers of art and nature will have the possibility to enjoy unforgettable emotions while visiting Ciel’Ostellato Park of Contemporary Sculpture. The park, that was established in 1998 inside the naturalistic oasis of  Vallette di Ostellato, gathers enchanting naturalistic beauties, rare animal species and plenty of sculptures made through the use of different materials and techniques.
