Nago-Torbole is a small municipality situated in the province of Trento. It extends from the shores of Lake Garda, where the hamlet of Torbole is situated, up to the top of Mount Altissimo (2.079 metres above sea level), which is occupied by the small hamlet of Nago.
Beautiful and varied natural settings and the mild Mediterranean climate of this charming resort, which is sheltered by the impressive peaks of Mount Baldo, make it a privileged holiday destination for large numbers of tourists.

Since the nineteenth century, illustrious poets and artists have left their personal mark over Nago-Torbole. Over the past fifty years, tourist services and accommodation facilities have dramatically increased and improved. Comfortable accommodation options are situated across the whole municipal territory, and they range from charming guesthouses and intimate shelters overlooking the lake to comfortable residences which are often situated in privileged panoramic positions.

Tourists are particularly attracted by the winds that blow in Nago-Torbole, which especially attract the lovers of windsurfing. The surrounding natural settings also attract the lovers of mountain bike and trekking. Among the most interesting itineraries is the panoramic footpath which leads to Tempesta, a 4-kilometre-long route which extends on the slopes of Mount Baldo and overlooks the shores of the lake. Another unmissable panoramic route is that leading to Valletta di Santa Lucia, while some of the most appreciated historic-artistic beauties of the small centres of this municipality are the church of St. Andrea in Torbole, which dates back to the XII century but was subsequently remodelled in the late Baroque style, the ruins of Castel Penede, an ancient fortress which commands both villages, and the municipal museum, which is surrounded by Nago's Austro-hungarian fortifications, the best-preserved of the whole region. A short distance from Nago in the direction of Maza tourists will have the possibility to admire the curious natural phenomenon of the glacial wells, the so-called Potholes, impressive rock formations which convey utmost profusion and fascination.
