Monteroni d’Arbia is a small municipality situated 13 kilometres far from Siena. Its name derives from the principal geographical patterns of its territory, that is to say Mount Roni, a sweet hill which commands the ancient village, and the stream Arbia, which flows across the whole of the surrounding area.
