Miradolo Terme, which is situated about 25 km east of Pavia, extends between the rivers Olona and Lambro. During the Middle Ages, it was a feud belonging to Belgioioso Family, and then passed under the control of the Estensi Family in the XV century.

The Parish Church dedicated to St. Michele Arcangelo boasts an impressive, eclectic structure. Its high and narrow facade hosts a capital which was made of Baveno granite in 1864 and then subsequently remodelled according to the canons of the Neoclassical style.
The oratory of St. Quirico, a sober building featuring pitched roof, is characterized by a peculiar facade, which is decorated with beautiful pilasters and cornices and embellished by a triangular pediment, while the adjoining bell tower hosts a small loggia which contains two bells. The surrounding area is dotted with further lovely sacred buildings, such as the Oratory of St. Giuseppe and the small Chapel of Gesiolo.
On the slopes of Miradolo Terme's hills is the cosy hamlet of Camporinaldo, which hosts the first Cassa Rurale ed Artigiana of the surrounding area. The pride of this lovely municipality are its elegant  spa establishments, which exploit the beneficial properties carried out by the brackish waters which once crossed the whole plain. The thermal springs originate 78 metres above sea level, just in the heart of an enchanting naturalistic area which is carpeted with lush vineyards and hazels, and give tourists the possibility to enjoy the beneficial properties carried out by their waters which contain sodium chloride, iodidie and bromide, lithium, magnesium and sulphur.
