The small niche of its facade bears the heraldic device of Emperor Charles V. Martinsicuro's city centre is also home to the curious museum of ancient weapons and to a sacred building of great value: the Church of Sacro Cuore di Gesù, which cherishes a precious painting by Giuseppe Pauri.
Martinsicuro is greatly appreciated for its compelling beach of golden sand and its clean sea: in 2002, it was awarded the prestigious Blue Flag recognition by Legambiente.
