One of Malgrate's most representative monuments is the Church of St. Carlo, which contains a precious seventeenth-century painting depicting the Madonna and Child with St. Carlo. The elegant stone portal of the church leads to a single nave featuring octagonal plan and impressive dome.
The famous Crucifixion fresco which is hosted inside the Baroque Church of St. Antonio Abate bears witness to its fifteenth-century origins. Not to be missed are the Church of St. Grato, which was designed by the architect Bruno Bianchi, and the Parish Church of St. Leonardo, which is embellished by a precious baptistry and a carved tabernacle.
