These huge erratic blocks are scattered with mysterious engravings which bear witness to the fact the surrounding area has been settled since the prehistoric and protohistoric periods. Art lovers won't miss the opportunity to visit the nearby hamlet of Scaria d’Intelvi, which hosts the church of St. Nazaro and Celso, whose interior is decorated with outstanding frescos by the local painter Giovanni Andrea De Magistris, who lived there between the XV and the XVI century.
