The interior of the church cherishes precious artworks and frescoes of great value, that were all realized between the XIV and the XVII century.
Gavi's most important tourist attraction is its food and wine tradition. Gavi DOCG, Cortese DOCG and other fine wines from Piedmont are served in all restaurant, inns and clubs. Gavi is situated a short distance from further important tourist centres, such as Serravalle Scrivia, Novi Ligure and Acqui Terme. Not to be missed is the tour of the famous Spinola Castle, that rises in the nearby hamlet of San Cristoforo.
