The valley is also home to the famous Grotta del vento, that gathers 4170 metres of underground tunnels cherishing wonderful stalactites, waterfalls and lakes. This important geological complex is particularly known for the strong wind that blows constantly inside it.
Every year on July 25th, Gallicano arranges the famous traditional festival of Palio di San Jacopo, that is livened up by amazing floats and parades.
