Folgarida is one of the most appreciated ski resorts in the province of Trento. Its city centre rises at an altitude of 1.300 metres above sea level, just in the heart of Val di Sole, and is dominated by the impressive peaks of the Brenta Dolomites. Folgarida was founded in 1965 as a new ski district of Val di Sole and soon began catching the attention of large numbers of tourists for its excellent road connections, modern ski-lift facilities and comfortable accommodation options.

Not to be missed are the charming footpaths which cross thick woods and forests and eventually lead to nearby villages and environmental oases, such as Adamello  Brenta Natural Park or the numerous Alpine lakes situated in the nearby village of Campo Carlo Magno.
