Faedo is a small municipality situated in the province of Trento. Idyllically set in a privileged panoramic position overlooking Val d’Adige, it rises 600 metres above sea level. Faedo's city centre is dominated by two churches, the former being very big and modern and the latter being a small, ancient structure featuring deep Baroque influences.
Monreale Castle, an imposing building dating back to the XI-century, is situated on the top of an impressive rock spur overlooking Faedo's city centre.
This lovely village is crowned by enchanting Alpine landscapes, that is to say the snow-capped peaks of the Brenta Dolomites during winter and the lush green meadows of the Adige Valley during spring. The thick woods which encircle the village make the ideal base for going for relaxing walks, while expert skiers can easily reach the popular Paganella ski district, which gathers 50 kilometres of slopes and modern ski-lift facilities.
