This protected area is also home to Villa Tesio, the famous breeding farm of Dormelletto-Olgiata race horses.
Dormelletto is also home to the precious remains of an ancient Gaulish necropolis, that gathers more than fifty tombs that were unearthed near the Town Hall. Its precious finds and remains are now cherished by Arona's Civic Archaeological Museum.
