The Church of St. Antonio abate, that is situated a very short distance from the sea, is the city's most important sacred building. The Neoclassical interior of the parish church cherishes some important paintings belonging to the Ligurian school, as well as prestigious marble altars dating back to the seventeenth century. Not to be missed is the splendid Baroque Church of St. Anna, that is characterized by a small portico and a huge slate dome. The building, that was originally designed as an aristicratic chapel, was commissioned in the XVII century by the noble family of Casalmiglia.
The sumptuous Palazzo del Parco, that was built around the half of the XIX century just in the heart of Diano Marina, is now home to a small picture galley, that is hosted inside A.S. Novaro Civic Library , and to the Civic Archaeological Museum, that is subdivided into three distinct sections: Archaeology, Risorgimento and Mineralogy.
The city's most popular event is its famous Infiorata, that is held between May and June to celebrate Corpus Domini. On the occasion of this solemnity, Diano's streets and major square are totally covered with colourful flower petals that are set in such a way to represent religious and eucharistic subjects.
