Champoluc, a small hamlet situated a short distance from Ayas just in the heart of Val d’Aosta, rises at an altitude of 1.568 metres above sea level and is the most important resort of Val d’Ayas. The city centre is dominated by the Crest area, an important ski district which can be easily reached by cableway.
