Cenate Sopra is a small municipality situated in the province of Bergamo which is separated from the nearby Cenate Sotto by the course of the stream Tadone. Located at the foothills of Mount Misma, it is idyllically set in the mouth of Val Cavallina.

Valpredina Regional Reserve is situated on the slopes of Mount Misma and is crossed by the stream Predina. It gathers rare species of animals and plants and a large botanical garden.
Not to be missed is the sanctuary of St. Maria Assunta topping Mount Misma. Built in the XII century, it is the oldest church in Cenate Sopra and can be reached through a fascinating footpath only.
