This imposing structure is flanked by an impressive bell tower, which was erected in the seventeenth century but has been subsequently remodelled all over the centuries, and is the seat of the ancient Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament.
The Church of St. Maria delle Grazie dates back to the first half of the XV century. It  was originally used as a shelter for the unfortunates and still cherishes a wonderful altar-piece by Solimene and a precious pipe organ. Art lovers won't miss the opportunity to visit the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, which was realized according to the canons of the neo-Gothic style and features a Latin cross and a nave and two aisles.
The lovers of history should visit the native House of Blessed Ludovico of Casoria and the Church of Madonna della Mercede. Since 2005, this small Neapolitan municipality has hosted a prestigious museum of contemporary art, Casoria International Contemporary Art Museum.
