The Parish Church of St. Maria is an outstanding example of the Pisan-Romanesque style. Its splendid facade is surmounted by two orders of blind arches, while its interior contains the eighteenth-century Chapel of Sacramento, that still cherishes a precious painting depicting the Miracle of Saint Catherine.
Another church worthy of mention is the parish church of St. Ippolito and Cassiano, that stands in the lovely hamlet of San Casciano a Settimo. It was built in the last decades of the XII century according to the projects by the illustrious medieval artist Biduino. The most precious part of the building is its portal, that is embellished by a beautiful bas relief by Biduino.
