Situated in the province of Como, Canzo is idyllically set across the border to Northern Brianza, the enchanting Waterfall of Vallategna marking the boundaries with Valassina. The latter, which was almost fully restored in the 70s, has recently been appointed Monastic oasis by the Diocesan Administration.
Among the most representative buildings of Canzo's old town are Villa Meda, an elegant Neoclassical palace which rises along the banks of the stream Ravella, the Social Theatre, which is now the venue for amazing music shows and theatrical performances, and Palazzo Tentorio, the current seat of important public offices.
