The Duomo, whose construction started in the year 1000, gathers precious medieval patterns of great value. The columns of its Romanesque facade, for example, are embellished by curious vegetal, zoomorphic and anthropomorphic decorations. The portal is surmounted by two stone lions, and its architrave hosts a bas-relief depicting grape harvest scenes. The interior of the church cherishes a precious XII Lucca-style ambo, that is embellished by precious bas-reliefs and sculptures.
