Not to be missed are the Spas of Santa Venera, that are popular for their water containing sodium bromide, chloride and iodide. They are hosted inside a beautiful Neoclassical building that is totally surrounded by a lush English garden. A new spa establishment has recently been inaugurated in the nearby district of Santa Caterina, that is dominated by an ancient church dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria.
