Situated just in the heart of the old town, it boasts a beautiful pronaos and a sumptuous square-shaped portico dating back to the Renaissance. Not to be missed is Visconti Castle, whose simple square-shaped structure dominated by impressive towers is surrounded by a deep moat. The building, which was repeatedly restored, still retains ancient frescoes and engravings of great value. The fifteenth-century Monastery of Annunciata, which has recently been totally restored, still retains ancient frescoes which were realized by the famous painter Nicola Mangone.
