Pisa's famous Leaning Tower is now the best-known building in Campo dei Miracoli (Field of Miracles). However, both Pisa itself and the whole province gather further interesting highlights.

Apart from Pisa's old town, not to be missed is the Etruscan city of Volterra, which hosts well-preserved Etruscan fortifications, impressive Roman ruins, splendid medieval palaces and plenty of interesting museums cherishing precious archaeological finds and fine alabaster handicrafts.

The Tyrrhenian Coast, which is situated only 11 kilometres far from the old town, is home to four important seaside resorts: Marina di Vecchiano, Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia and Calambrone. Not to be missed are the nearby natural reserves, Tenuta San Rossore and Migliarino and Tenuta Tombolo, which are unspoilt natural oases featuring incredible environmental settings.

 Not to be missed are the local spa resorts, such as San Giuliano Terme, also known as Bagni di Pisa, which has been famous since the Etruscan Age. A short distance from it are the famous Spas of Casciana and Uliveto.
