The Bed and Breakfast Valente is situated at Centola-Palinuro (Sa), it stands on a hill, 3 miles far from the sea Palinuro ( Palinuro was the well-known helmsman of Enea in Virgil's book Eneide).

The Bed and Breakfast is situated in the centre of the village and you can enjoy a quite stay.
The village is included into the National Park of Cilento and Vallo of Diano 447.260 acres.
The Park is a meeting place with Nature and Man, with the sea and the mountains: it is the Park exellence in the centre of the Mediterranean sea.

The whole Cilento is charactherised by gently rollings hills, sometimes even rugged, with a great variety of natural environments.
The symbol of the Park is the Primrose Palinuri Petagna. It flowers at Palinuro in february and march.

In the surrondings of the bb it's possibile to visit Palinuro and Marina of Camerota ( their marine grottos and the coast), San Severino of Centola (a medioeval abandoned village), Camerota ( the local work of earthnwere), Bosco (where the painter Ortega used to live).

It's possible to reach easily the archeological sites of Velia, Roccagloriosa and Paestum, the Carthusian monastery of Padula, Teggiano ( a medieval town well preserved), the wwf oasis of Morigerati, the Sanctuary of the Lady of the sacred mountain of Novi Velia.

Trekking too, on the mountains Bulgheria, Stella and Gelbison.
