A HOLIDAY BASED ON SEA, HISTORY AND FUN

The Romagna Riviera.
The Romagna Riviera is a heap of natural resources, historical treasures, traditions and culture unlike no other place in Italy.
Its coastline has long been a privileged place where Italians spend their holidays. New services and facilities are constantly been created to meet the needs of its visitors who are always warmly welcomed in this friendly and informal place, which is hard to find anywhere else, all without having to spend astronomical amounts of money.

The sea.
The coastal area of the Romagna Riviera stretches from the beaches on the Ravenna coast to the beaches of Gabicce Mare, a seaside resort on the border of Le Marche despite being geographically and historically integrated with the Emilia-Romagna Region. Within 100 km of coastline overlooking the Adriatic Sea, a variety of different landscapes and seaside resorts can be found including naturalistic areas, pine forests and long beaches with fine sand. This is where, over the years, the myth of the Romagna Riviera was born and developed.

The theme parks
Numerous, original, fun and even educational, the theme parks on the Romagna Riviera are among the main reasons to visit us and experience unforgettable emotions. Here we have something for everyone, from large parks with rides and attractions for all ages like Mirabilandia, to water parks such as Aquafan, to the more educational ones like Oltremare and Italia in Miniatura.
The food and wine.
Among the many elements that helped make the Romagna Riviera  famous and which characterizes in particular its identity is its well-know gastronomic tradition, admired since ancient times and worthy of a trip to these lands.
The dish par excellence in this part of the country is the Piada or Piadina. This quick and tasty dish, to be enjoyed everywhere in order to discover different local recipes, is usually accompanied with cured meats, grilled vegetables or cheese. The Sangiovese, the Trebbiano and the Albana are musts for wine lovers.

The culture.
Among the villages and towns of the Romagna Riviera can be found numerous and important traces of Etruscan, Roman and medieval times. Traces of civilizations and people who have contributed to making this region a place of great charm, rich in ancient traditions and legends can be found in the ancient city walls, in the castles, in the villages perched on the hills and in the old town centres of cities like Ravenna, Rimini and Cesena.

Accommodation options.
Above all else, the Romagna Riviera truly excels in its tourist accommodation services. There are countless options of all categories and styles, from modern 5-star hotels to historic villas, from inexpensive family-run guesthouses to self-catering holiday rentals.
